Marcela has five years of experience as a phone interpreter serving the Hispanic community, providing support in legal matters, online court hearings, communication with insurance companies, medical calls, and applications for health coverage and federal benefits.

For the past two years, she has also worked as a simultaneous interpreter for Civil Associations that support communities of domestic violence survivors.

In addition, she collaborates as a translator in community and cultural events, including film festivals—most notably Justice for My Sisters.

Currently, Marcela manages a community space at Mariachi Plaza in Los Angeles, where she offers services to the public and organizes art and cultural events that promote connection and social well-being.

Emma is a multilingual translator and interpreter with a strong academic background in philosophy, sociology, and humanitarian studies. Over the past twelve years, she has worked in international and multicultural contexts, including collaborations with the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations across Latin America and the Caribbean.
